My passion for food seems to be unending. I love eating, of course, and talking about food, making food, learning about the science behind food, and even dreaming about food at night. It thrills me to discover new tastes and methods of cooking food, and it makes me excited every day to know that I will be spending my time doing something I love. Eventually, I would like to be able to integrate a career as a professional in the food industry with my food justice values, and Vermont is a great place to do so!
The purpose of this e-portfolio is to let you, the reader, become familiar with my culinary and hospitality education, internships, and professional work experience. I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to study at The New England Culinary Institute, and I’m taking this opportunity to show you my background and skills, as well as give you insight into my motivation and goals.
